Michelle
I’m a full-time primary school teacher with a background in Social Care. Before teaching I spent several years working in residential settings supporting people in their day-to-day lives. That experience has definitely shaped me to be naturally tuned into other people. I like a home to feel calm, easy, and settled. The natural teacher in me is patient and helpful. During the week my routine is fairly steady; work until 3pm, home to cook, out for a walk or an exercise class, and switch off for the evening. I’m not into late nights or a big social scene, and I value a quieter pace of life. I’m easy going, tidy without being over the top, and enjoy company when it suits you, whether that’s evening chats with a cuppa and a show, a walk, or a trip to the shops. I’m looking for comfortable accommodation where both people feel relaxed and at ease.

Tuane and her lovely little senior dog
"Hello, I’m Tuane, I am a Healthcare Assistant, and I am usually home by 6:30pm in the evening. This is my 11-year-old dog, who is very friendly and spayed. We are both originally from Brazil and have been living in Dublin since 2019. I am a organised and responsible person.
I have very flexible working hours, which I can change upon request. I can help with cleaning, cooking, and companionship. My hobbies are cycling, board games, and watching documentaries.
If you’re Catholic, I’d be happy to attend a mass with you, too. I’m a non-smoker, and I really enjoy learning about Irish culture."

Maira
I am Brazilian, empathetic, responsible, and I have a background in healthcare. I currently work in a nursing home; previously, I worked as a home care assistant, with extensive experience in supporting older people. I always respect established boundaries, routines, and rules, valuing the individual’s autonomy and well-being. I am organized and reliable, offering a safe presence and practical support when needed, without interfering with independence. I can assist with light daily tasks and provide support in situations of need. I am looking forward to living and working in the north of Dublin, such as Dublin 11, Dublin 9, Dublin 3, or Dublin 5, Dublin 7 for example.
Thank you for your attention, and I look forward to hearing from you.

Looking to live in Dublin from start September
Colm
Hi, I’m Colm, a 22-year-old from County Louth. This September I’ll be starting my Master’s in Physiotherapy at UCD. I’ve always enjoyed being active, which is what sparked my interest in physiotherapy and helping people stay mobile, independent and doing the things they enjoy.
Outside of college, I play Gaelic football for my local club, enjoy watching and playing soccer, going to the gym and meeting up with friends. I have my own car, I’m friendly, tidy and easy to get along with. I’d be happy to help out around the house and, if wanted, encourage light mobility exercises or go for walks together. I’m excited to start this next chapter at UCD and hope to build a good relationship with whoever I end up living with.

Nadine previous home share experience
Hi there I'm Nadine a previous Elderhomeshare companion. Growing up in Birmingham I cared for my own dearly love Grandmother. Since moving to Ireland in 2016 I have been blessed to have lived with 2 amazing Elder Home Share women who have taught me so much about Life, Resilience and Iconic moments in Irish history. I became particularly close to Minnie who was 94 when we met. She taught me all about growing up in Dublin in the 30s, 40s and being a dancer in the 50s. Our friendship was so lovely.. To me that is such a wonderful part of this whole program. I also come with my little dog Missy Grá who is a sociable and fully house trained 9kg Cavachon, who goes to doggy day care when I’m working as a Dental Nurse in Dún Laoghaire. I am also a fully licensed EMT so very calm in emergencies and I’m open to joint activities like bingo, short walks, painting, cards or just chats over cups of tea.
